Laundry, Laundry, Laundry

All of our clothes are never clean at the same time.  Even on the days I do the laundry, at least 7 items are still dirty.  Either they somehow manage to escape the trip to the washer all together, or as soon as I put the clean clothes and towels away, I am opening the drawer to get them right back out again.  It's as if Coralyn plans when she will make a mess: she watches me carry the basket of her dirty clothes downstairs, waits until she hears the click of the washing machine door, and then spills her yogurt and blueberries all over herself.  And Kellah must think it's absolutely hilarious to see my face when I have just started the load of all her dirty diapers, put the last clean one on her, and then she poops!

Needless to say, I am in need of quality laundry detergent (and pre-treatment/stain remover)!!!  BUT, I don't want to spend an arm and a leg to keep my girls' clothes clean.

Here's what I made and am praying will work small miracles, every single day:

Stain Remover

1 C Water
1/2 Cup Baking Soda
1/2 Cup Hydrogen Peroxide

Laundry Detergent

1 Bar of Soap (5 oz), shaved (makes about 2 cups)
1 Cup Washing Soda
1 Cup Borax
