In my efforts to help people understand that It Works is more than just the Ultimate Body Applicator (wrap), I am highlighting various other health and wellness products we have to help individuals, wherever they may be on their health journey or whatever their wellness goals may be.

I didn't know what thermogenesis was either, but I was glad to learn about it so I can apply my knowledge and better accomplish my health and wellness goals!

Thermogenesis is "the process by which your body raises its temperature and energy output."  If your body's energy output is higher, then your body has to raise its metabolic rate.  To support your increased metabolism, your body burns fat and calories faster.  On top of all that, your lean muscle increases at a faster rate as well!

If you are like me, as you age your metabolism slows down.  Sadly, even when I was younger, my metabolism was similar to that of a handicapped snail! :)  Now that I am approaching 30, my metabolism hasn't magically turned into a cheetah.  More like an injured turtle!!!
