Homemade Guacamole

I was making supper and thought I would share my recipe with you.  I stole it from a friend, but I don't think she will mind that I spread the word.  This stuff is soooooo good!

Here's what you'll need:

Tomato, lemon, onion, garlic, cilantro, and of course avocados.  I usually have 4 avocados, but only had 2 today.  Depending on how many people you are serving, you can add more of everything.

So, now that you have all your ingredients, here's what you need to do:

Chop up the tomato, onion, garlic, and cilantro.  Squeeze the lemon on top.  Set all that aside.

Next, cut up the avocado.  I've found a great way to do that:

Then, just scoop each half out and put it in a bowl.  I mash it all up with a potato masher.

Now, just add your tomato, onion, garlic, cilantro, lemon mixture to your mashed up avocados.  Stir it all together and WHA-LA! you have some delicious guacamole!

I am so ready for supper tonight.  We're having nachos, and this guacamole is going to go perfectly!
