On Saturday, Lawrence asked me what my goal is for this It Works thing.
Well, I have more than one:
*Reach DIAMOND level and earn a $10,000 bonus, paid out over 25 months ($400 a month)
*Help others on my team do the same thing.
Many of my team members are at least part-time stay-at-home moms who would love to be at home full time. I know how important being at home with my own kiddos is to me, and I want to help them have the same opportunity since they desire that as well.
*Inspire people to purse healthy living.
I want people to enjoy life to the fullest, and to do that, you usually need to be healthy! I want people to see the importance of making good choices, eating right, being active.
*Provide natural options for those with various illness and health issues.
I have heard and seen too many testimonies of people using our products not to share these stories and give others at least the chance to see if It Works could make such a difference in their lives as well.
*Have It Works be the main source of my personal income that I contribute to our family.
Eventually, I don't think daycare will be an option for me. We want 4 kids, and there is no way that I can sanely and responsibly care for our own 4 children plus 4 daycare kiddos! BUT, I have to contribute to our family's income. Lawrence works VERY hard at his job, and I am super proud of him, but let's be honest, teachers don't chose their profession for the paycheck.
My ultimate dream would be: teach preschool in my home two or three mornings a week (8:30-11:30), teach childbirth classes and doula (providing other services as well like lactation education/support and more), and sell It Works. That would allow me to pursue my passions: motherhood, early childhood education, birth and all things babies, health and wellness.
I know those are big dreams, especially the last one. I am an all in type of person though. I go big or go home. Lawrence teaches his students to dream big, so why should I stop now that I'm not in third grade? I shouldn't! Nor should anyone!
In just under 2 months, I have reached the EXECUTIVE level. My paycheck for March will be more than double, closer to triple, what I made in February. And that doesn't count any of my cash sales or bonuses I earned (thanks to new customers and team members)!
My goal for April is to reach RUBY level, and I am pretty close already, actually.
I just need one more team member and several more loyal customers! This goal is totally attainable! And when you set goals, that is important. My goal of reaching Ruby is "SMART."
Since I am confident I will reach this goal, I already have my sights set on what is next -- the EMERALD level, which would probably match what I make watching 3 kiddos in day care!
That one will be harder to reach, but not impossible. My mom asked me what it would take to get to DIAMOND, my goal by May 9. I told her, "Work." Simple. But it's fun work and I thoroughly enjoy it!
I'm not sharing any of this to toot my own horn, but rather to help you see how this company is helping our family. I told God when I started, "You have been so faithful to provide me with daycare kiddos (I will be completely full come August) and childbirth students (I just had another couple contact me about my series starting on Saturday, so I will have 3 couples for sure and 2 more are considering, which would make 5 total and that's my limit) and doula clients (I have gotten to help with 3 births already this year and have at least 2 more clients lined up). Anything I make with It Works for now will be totally and completely "extra." We will use that money to bless others. Be it our Kellybrook ministry, sending care packages to friends overseas, sponsoring kids to go to Ponca, donating to missions trips, giving more at church, or whatever needs God presents us with and lays before us. Well, He has blown me away with how He has blessed this business so far! I am excited to see what opportunities He gives us to share with others and make His goodness and love known to them in a real way as well!
I also want to help you understand WHY I am a distributor for It Works, why I post on faceboook about it all the time, why I can't help but talk about it when I am with people.
Maybe you have been thinking about trying It Works products to see if they would help you reach your health goals, to get over a plateau, to jumpstart an exercise routine, to inspire you to eat right, to deal with a health issue more naturally, or whatever your reason may be.
Or maybe you have been considering joining the It Works team and family, but are skeptical, like I was. I would love to answer your questions. I had a 100 of them, at least, before I made the decision to go for it.
All I know is that I am on a journey, as we all are. I figured since I am from Kansas, I can get away with using the whole "Follow the Yellow Brick Road" analogy.
Dorthy, in her RUBY slippers, on her way to EMERALD City, surrounded by friends and making new ones along the way.
Would you care to join me -- as a customer and work together on your health?
Or as a team member and work together to make your dreams come true, however big they may be!
Check out my webiste or contact me so we can chat!!!
